Taiga is seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team in Montreal. The successful candidate will build a progressive HR function in a rapidly scaling technology and manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in recruiting, total rewards, employee relations, performance management and learning and development
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for executive, management, and other critical roles in the execution of our business strategy
  • Design and implement the Taiga compensation structure and benefit programs
  • Play an integral role in building and maintaining a performance and growth-oriented culture
  • Identify trends/insights (internal and external) and proactively recommend solutions that improve organizational efficiency, leadership capabilities, and organizational culture

Skills and experience:

  • 5 to 7 years minimum experience in a Human Resources function
  • Proven track record in building effective teams under short timelines, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry
  • Experience in small company or start-up environment with dynamic and fluid momentum
  • Fluency in French and English is essential
  • Proactive self-starter, being able to plan and work the day with minimal input from management
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • A high level of flexibility/adaptability
